The Lord’s Prayer in Luganda

Racial Justice Sunday is an opportunity for all of us to reflect on our faith and how we put it into practice. The Lords Prayer teaches us how to pray and it is used during Sunday Worship and daily in different languages around the world at the start of the day, at the dinner table and in the evening.

In this video, Racheal M reads the Lord’s Prayer in Luganda. Versions are also available in Hindi, Punjabi, French, and Swahili.

God call us from every nation to join him in prayer, song and worship and it is fitting that Christians embrace the different styles of worship and prayer. In doing so we can all recognize the importance of understanding that God welcomes all to the heavenly feast where (there will be) “a great multitude that no-one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb“. (Rev 7 v9)

Let us unite in Christ’s Love on Racial Justice Sunday and always.
