An invitation to all Readers, Licensed Lay Ministers and Lay Elders to join us for our annual study day
Our guest speaker this year is the Revd Dr Thomas Sharp from St Augustine’s College of Theology.
A core part of Thomas’s teaching focuses on human flourishing, especially how Christians care for others in times of hardship.
“My PhD research explored death and disease,” he says, “but more importantly, it looked at how people grow and change during tough times. I want people to think deeply about how we support one another as Christians, and how we reflect God’s love when life gets difficult.”
- Morning session: Pastoral Care in a Broken World
- Afternoon session: Theology of Safeguarding – what does it mean to care?
Reserve your free space now! Registration and refreshments from 9.30am, sessions start at 10.00am.
